Attorney Scott Vorhees Joins JOMO Adventures on Cycling Ride for Poverty
Our very own Attorney Scott Vorhees recently teamed up with JOMO Adventures to participate in a 300+ mile cycling route through four states to benefit Circles, a non-profit designed to assist those in poverty. Watch the clip below for more information about the ride:
Joplin Tornado Memorial Marathon Earbud Giveaway
Each year, the city of Joplin holds a memorial run to honor those lost in the 2011 tornado disaster. This year, Johnson, Vorhees, & Martucci provided free earbuds to runners participating in the race.
Annual Elementary School Sweatshirt and Beanie Giveaway
Each year, Johnson, Vorhees, & Martucci travel to local elementary schools to give away free beanies and sweatshirts to students in the area. Below are a few photos from our most recent events:
Vision Joplin 2022
Attorney Scott Vorhees is a Co-Leader of the Healthy Living/Wellness Committee for Vision Joplin 2022. The mission of Joplin of 2022 is to support the citizens’ desire for quality schools by developing a community of learners rooted in strong communications, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative thought to ensure an engaged and informed community. The Joplin Globe recently featured Scott Vorhees who lead a Vision 2022 committee meeting discussing the increasing opportunities for preventive health measures.

Joplin Memorial Marathon
Johnson, Vorhees & Martucci is a Title Sponsor of Joplin Memorial Marathon. Participants of this marathon raise funds to honor those who lost their lives in the 2011 tornado and promote recovery efforts.

Jasper County Juvenile Service Advisory Board
Attorney Patrick Martucci is the founding member and was the past President of this organization from July 2015-December 2016; he currently is a board member and his wife, Jennifer Martucci, is the current President. The advisory board is dedicated to helping schools and juvenile court systems work together to improve the lives of the youths in our area, especially those at risk, in drug court or experiencing behavior or truancy issues.
ASCENT Recovery Residences
Attorney Patrick Martucci is on the board of ASCENT Recovery Residences in Joplin, MO. The mission at ASCENT is to provide sustained recovery management in a faith-based environment that encourages a generation of young men to develop the integrity, self-discipline, work ethic and attitude to become productive members of society.
Attorney Scott Vorhees is an Ally and a member of the board for Circles Joplin. He has also spoken at the Circles USA National Convention and has taught the 16-week course for Circles Leaders. The mission of Circles has always been to inspire and equip families and communities to thriveand resolve poverty. Circles believe strongly that responsibility for both poverty and prosperity rests not only in the hands of individuals,but also with societies, institutions, and communities. It’s theunderlying foundation of the Circles model – engage people and organizationsin the community to end poverty.
