This week’s Attorney Spotlight focuses on Ashley Norman, one of our
firm’s talented and experienced Arkansas personal injury lawyers.
Ashley, who primarily handles cases related to
medical malpractice, and premises liability, actually had no idea she wanted to become a lawyer
until her first year of college. However, after taking an American History
class taught only through the lens of U.S. Supreme Court cases and their
influence, she became fascinated with the nation’s court system
and the tremendous impact it can have on the lives of everyday citizens.
Though she did not know a single lawyer when beginning her studies at the
University Of Arkansas School Of Law, Ashley remained tenacious in her
studies, earning numerous honors and graduating fifth in her class in
2010. Now, she uses her talents to fight to protect the rights of the
injured every day at Johnson, Vorhees & Martucci.
To Ashley, the real reward of her career is knowing that her work helps
and improves the lives of others. “It’s good to see my clients’
relief when I am able to carry a little bit of their burden so they can
focus on healing and trying to move on with their lives,” she says.
Ashley is admitted to practice law in Arkansas, Missouri, and the U.S.
District Court Western District of Missouri. She is also a member of numerous
professional organizations, including:
- Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys
- Benton County Bar Association
- Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association
- Arkansas Bar Association
- The Missouri Bar
- Jasper County Bar Association
- University of Arkansas Alumni Association
